Call to Order
The regular meeting of the Board of Directors was held on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at Scooters, 2750 Miracle Mile, Bullhead City, AZ. The meeting was called to order at 11:50 a.m., by President Larry Adams.
Attendees
President Larry Adams, Secretary/Treasurer John Caponetto, Directors Bob King, Michael Andrews, and Tonya Frederickson. Absent: Directors Catherine Lopez-Rajaniemi, Larry Ojeda, and Shane Chester. Guest: James Land.
Minutes
President Larry Adams asked if everyone read the Newsletter. President Larry Adams asked for a motion to approve the June Board Minutes. Director Bob King made a motion to approve the June Board Minutes. Director Tonya Frederickson seconded the motion. All were in favor. Motion passed.
Treasurer’s Report
President Larry Adams asked for a motion to dispense reading of the Treasurer’s Report until tomorrow night’s general/dinner meeting. Director Michael Andrews made a motion to dispense reading of the Treasurer’s Report. Director Bob King seconded the motion. All were in favor. Motion passed.
Old Business
President Larry Adams said that Secretary/Treasurer John Caponetto has been working on getting our web page revised, which needs a lot of work. Secretary/Treasurer John Caponetto said that they are going to have tabs showing our Mission Statement, Membership Application, Code of Ethics, Membership List, and a Comments/Questions that can be clicked on. Director Tonya Frederickson will be the contact with the web page. She will also handle all the comments/questions. Secretary/Treasurer John Caponetto said that Jeremy Webb is now handling our website.
President Larry Adams talked about having a complete Board of nine members. The Board consists of President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and five Directors. President Larry Adams said we need someone to step up for the Vice President position so we can put James Lands on the Board.
President Larry Adams talked about the venue at Chaparral Country Club. There was a suggestion to look at other venues for a new meeting place.
New Business
President Larry Adams mentioned that the Registrar of Contractors will be celebrating their 95th anniversary in Phoenix. He said he will be going to Phoenix for this.
President Larry Adams said that our guest speaker for tomorrow night’s general/dinner meeting will be Lydia Duratch Henry, Mohave County Recorder. She will be talking about early balloting, early mailing and registration.
President Larry Adams asked if anyone had anything to bring up. James Lands talked about talking to councilmember Tami Ring at the last general dinner meeting and asking about the rumor of the city trying to get water from Bermuda or trade. She said she could not talk about it.

President Larry Adams asked if anyone had anything else to discuss. He then asked for a motion to adjourn. Director Michael Andrews made a motion to adjourn. Director Bob King seconded the motion. All were in favor. Motion passed. Meeting adjourned at 12:35 p.m.
