Call to Order

The regular meeting of the Board of Directors was held on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at Scooters, 2750 Miracle Mile, Bullhead City, AZ.  The meeting was called to order at 11:55 a.m., by President Larry Adams.                                            

Attendees

President Larry Adams, Secretary/Treasurer John Caponetto, Directors Larry Ojeda, Bob King, and Michael Andrews.  Absent:  Directors Catherine Lopez-Rajaniemi, Shane Chester, and Tonya Frederickson.                                      

Minutes

President Larry Adams asked if they read the Newsletter.  President Larry Adams asked for a motion to approve the March Board Minutes.  Director Michael Andrews made a motion to approve the March Board Minutes.   Director Larry Ojeda seconded the motion.  All were in favor.  Motion passed.    

Treasurer’s Report

President Larry Adams asked for a motion to dispense reading of the Treasurer’s Report until tomorrow night’s general/dinner meeting.  Director Michael Andrews made a motion to dispense reading of the Treasurer’s Report.  Director Bob King seconded the motion.  All were in favor.  Motion passed.

Old Business

President Larry Adams talked about the five candidates running for two seats in the House of Representatives, District 30.  Tomorrow night’s guest speakers will be three candidates running for the two seats.  They are Michael Gannuscio, David Rose, and Grace Hecht.  President Larry Adams said we already had two candidates speak at our February general/dinner meeting.  They were Catherine Lopez-Rajaniemi and Caroline Strecker.    

New Business

Secretary/Treasurer John Caponetto said we have two new membership applications from Jim’s House of Glass and Mohave Garage Door.  Steve Gingrich owns both companies.  President Larry Adams asked or a motion to accept the membership applications from Jim’s House of Glass and Mohave Garage Door.  Director Larry Ojeda made a motion to accept the membership applications from Jim’s House of Glass and Mohave Garage Door.  Director Bob King seconded the motion.  All were in favor.  Motion passed.  

Adjournment

President Larry Adams asked if anyone had anything else to discuss.  He then asked for a motion to adjourn.   Director Michael Andrews made a motion to adjourn.  Director Larry Ojeda seconded the motion.  All were in favor.  Motion passed.  Meeting adjourned at 12:05 p.m.
