Call To Order
The regular meeting of the Board of Directors was held on Tuesday, January 7, 2025, at Scooters, 2750 Miracle Mile, Bullhead City, AZ. The meeting was called to order at 11:54 a.m., by President Larry Adams.
Attendees
President Larry Adams, Secretary/Treasurer John Caponetto, Directors Bob King, Michael Andrews, Larry Ojeda, and Mike Williams. Absent: Directors Shane Chester and Catherine Lopez-Rajaniemi.
Minutes
President Larry Adams asked if they read the Newsletter. President Larry Adams asked for a motion to approve the December Board Minutes. Director Bob King made a motion to approve the December Board Minutes. Director Larry Ojeda seconded the motion. All were in favor. Motion passed.
Treasurer’s Report
President Larry Adams asked for a motion to dispense reading of the Treasurer’s Report until tomorrow’s general/dinner meeting. Director Michael Andrews made a motion to dispense reading of the Treasurer’s Report. Director Bob King seconded the motion. All were in favor. Motion passed.
Old Business
President Larry Adams said that the work on the Academy of Building Industries school is not going as smoothly as it should. They are still trying to get electricity, the alarm and security system online. The Fire Marshall was on Christmas vacation. They needed a special inspector for the hood. Lot of frustrations trying to get inspections passed.
New Business
President Larry Adams said that our guest speaker for tomorrow night’s general meeting will be Jeanne Kentch, our Mohave County Assessor.
Adjournment
President Larry Adams asked if anyone had anything else to discuss. He then asked for a motion to adjourn. Director Bob King made a motion to adjourn. Director Larry Ojeda seconded the motion. All were in favor. Motion passed. Meeting adjourned at 12:04 p.m.
