Call To Order
The regular meeting of the Board of Directors was held on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at Scooters, 2750 Miracle Mile, Bullhead City, AZ. The meeting was called to order at 11:51 a.m., by President Larry Adams.
Attendees
President Larry Adams, Secretary/Treasurer John Caponetto, Directors Shane Chester, Michael Andrews, Larry Ojeda, Bob King, and Catherine Lopez-Rajaniemi. Absent: Director Mike Williams. Guest: Genee.
Minutes
President Larry Adams asked if they read the Newsletter. President Larry Adams asked for a motion to approve the March Minutes. Director Shane Chester made a motion to approve the March Board Minutes. Director Larry Ojeda seconded the motion. All were in favor. Motion passed.
Treasurer’s Report
President Larry Adams asked for a motion to dispense reading of the Treasurer’s Report until tomorrow’s general/dinner meeting. Director Shane Chester made a motion to dispense reading of the Treasurer’s Report. Director Bob King seconded the motion. All were in favor. Motion passed.
Old Business
Secretary/Treasurer John Caponetto said that they have the permit paid ahead of time for the shades. They need to schedule the installation of the shades. He said that once the shades are up, he already has the permit for putting up the block walls.
New Business
President Larry Adams said that the guest speaker for tomorrow night’s general meeting will be Mr. John Salvino, Mohave County Sheriff Supervisor for our District.
Guest Speaker
President Larry Adams said that prices have increased on everything, like for garage doors, windows, air conditioning.
Secretary/Treasurer John Caponetto said that he received a membership application from Sean Fields of Reliant Air Services. There was a discussion on whether to approve or deny this membership application. President Larry Adams asked for a motion to deny Reliant Air Services for membership. Director Michael Andrews made a motion to deny the membership application from Reliant Air Services. Director Larry Ojeda seconded the motion. All were in favor. Motion passed.
Director Catherine Lopez-Rajaniemi informed the Board Members that on Friday, April 11, 2025, there will be a dedication for the John & Olivia McCormick Performing Arts Pavillion. There will be food trucks, a beer garden, amusement rides and games.
Adjournment
President Larry Adams asked if anyone had anything else to discuss. He then asked for a motion to adjourn. Director Bob King made a motion to adjourn. Director Larry Ojeda seconded the motion. All were in favor. Motion passed. Meeting adjourned at 12:11 p.m.
