I cannot believe it is March already and our Annual Home & Garden Show is only a little over two weeks away. Your committee has been hard at work for the past several months to make this Home Show bigger and better than ever before. The show this year will be held at the Riverview Mall March 25th and 26th. If you talk to anyone who has participated in this show in the past I am confident they all will tell you that it is a very productive way to increase  your business sales. If you haven’t yet committed to a booth at the show there is still time to do so. A 10’x10′ inside booth for association members is only $250.00 for the weekend.

There will also be a car show on Saturday and an arts and crafts show all weekend long. Contact any of our board members or Catherine at (928) 768-4211 to reserve a space. The Noon Kiwanis Club will again be offering sandwich and snacks as well as soft drinks.

Things are definitely looking up in Bullhead City. Since the first of the year a new Starbucks has started construction as well as a Harbor Freight store going in the old Hastings building. We now have scheduled airline service into Phoenix and points beyond which we all hope will be a successful addition to our community.

In addition, the City has made great progress on planning for an additional Park Recreational Area on Section 12 just south of old Bullhead City. This is an exciting purpose and it is expected that we will have access to an additional 1/2 mile of riverfront by hopefully this summer.

Mr. Clint Stevens, the Senior Planner for City of Bullhead will be our guest speaker at our regular dinner meeting Wednesday, March 8th at the Chaparral Clubhouse. Clint will have colored drawings of the new proposed park and you will have an opportunity to share any ideas you may have about what amenities you would like to see in this new park. Please email your dinner reservation to John Caponetto at Do it now while you are thinking about it and be a part of the exciting future of Bullhead City/Mohave Valley
