Merry Christmas everyone. I know it’s only October, but with all the stores setting up their Christmas displays, I wanted to be the first to say it.
As everyone probably knows, we lost a friend and board member last month. Daryl Connella past away due to complications from his diabetes. He will be missed and we send our prayers to his family.
We have a busy schedule coming up for the next few months. Our Home & Garden Expo committee will be getting back together to plan our 4th show. Last year was our most successful show to date, so the bar is already set high for this year. If you would like to be on the committee or interested in having a booth at this years show let me know, we are always looking for help.
Our next dinner meeting will be at the Academy of Building Industries, 1547 E Lipan Blvd, Fort Mohave, AZ on October 14 at 5:30 PM. This will be more of a get together in conjunction with the schools open house. Come on down and bring the family, tour the school and have some food. There is no cost, but the school does accept donations.
Our dinner meeting in November will be back at Chaparral Country Club. We will have updates on the TPT tax issue that Larry Adams has been working very hard on. If this new legislation passes it could save everyone a lot of time and money. Don’t forget this coming Wednesday October 14 we will be meeting at the AOBI. Tours start at 5:30 come and show your support for the school, the kids and the staff.
