President Rick Bastyr

Here we are. Half way through 2015 and we seem to be doing ok. Now if we could get the temperature to drop 20 or 30 degrees it would be perfect.

Congrats to the board of directors and officers on their re-elections to the Board. And a warm welcome to Jim Underwood, our Lowes representative, on his first term as a board member. And a big thank you to Steve Ramsey for his time served over the years. You are always welcome to attend any board meeting. I look forward to any advice or input you have to offer.

One of our biggest goals for this year is to increase membership. If everyone were to bring in one member we would double our membership. Let’s make that a personal goal for everyone.  And as always we look forward to your ideas and suggestions for improving the association.

I look forward to seeing all of you at the general dinner meeting on Wednesday July 8th at 6pm.  This Month’s guest speaker will Arizona State mine inspector Joe Hart. Joe is a native of Kingman, has served as our representative in the Arizona State Legislation for a number of terms. Joe has a background in mining, has owned and operated a number of Ranches in Mohave County. He also owns and operates a Radio Station in Kingman and Seligman, Arizona. Among other things Joe will talk about States Rights and possible transfer of B.L.M. and U.S. Forest Lands to the State of Arizona. This promises to be a very interesting, informative presentation you won’t want to miss it. Make your reservations on line Now!!

Don’t forget to RSVP your reservation for a chance to win next months dinner for free.
