And if that wasn’t enough to pack into one night, this is also our yearly General election. You will vote for your new President, Vice President and Board members. This is your chance to step up and become more involved in the future of this organization.
I look forward to seeing all of you on Wednesday June 11th at 6pm. Don’t forget to RSVP to get a chance to win a free dinner next month.

1% City Sales Tax
President Bastyr said they would discuss what they plan to put forth to the membership tomorrow night as to holding a debate on how the membership feels about the 1% city sales tax that is being proposed. Some of the questions to be asked are “does the MVCA have to take a stand one way or another?” “Do we have to support, stay neutral, or be against the sales tax?” “Are we going to vote by hand or by ballot?” “Do we need to vote on this tomorrow?” “Do we have enough information on this subject to pass on to the membership?” What it comes down to, it will be the memberships’ choice.
